Vanessa, SLP & founder
Meet the founder

Hi, I'm Vanessa, the SLP behind GAB.

Vanessa Grimstad, MSc, Registered Speech-Language Pathologist
Regina, Saskatchewan

I didn't know it then, but GAB started during my clinical training. I was seeing client after client every day and spending hours making paper therapy materials that took forever to prep, didn't last, and didn't excite my clients. So, I made a game they'd actually want to play. That game became Artic Smash.

Later came Social Connections, a program where kids practised their social communication skills in community sport. Seeing what my program and the support of others did for neurodivergent children's communication and confidence is what GAB is built on. I've spent five years in private practice and schools, focused on speech sound development, language, fluency and social communication while learning and growing every day.

  • The products are in the works.
  • The business is being built.
  • The coffee is being consumed.
